Class 3 Arista Vehicle Inspection includes an unlimited number of images with your inspection report. Minneapolis Inspections reserves the right to choose the number of images disclosed with your report. The range can be any where from upwards of twenty images included.
Minneapolis Inspections offers mobile vehicle inspections. Because these inspections are mobile, access to lifting the vehicle fully in the air is not possible. These inspections will differ from those of a repair shop. We may use vehicle ramps to raise the vehicle at our own discretion to gain access to underneath the engine bay. Lifting by car ramps alone does not permit full access to the under carriage as compared to a repair shop lift. Access to the rear undercarriage will not be possible by vehicle lifting ramps.
Our Inspection is subject to certain limitations. Vehicles produced earlier than 1984 will not be inspected. Only vehicles produced 1984 to present will be inspected upon a Service Request approval. Only non-exotic vehicles will be inspected. The list of exotic vehicles list as follows: Acura NSX, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi A8 and S8, Bentley, BMW 8 Series and M5 and M6, Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper, Ferrari, Fiat, Ford GT, Jaguar XK8 and XJ8, Lamborghini, Lancia, Land Rover, Lotus, MG, Maserati, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz S Class, Mini, Plymouth Prowler, Porsche, Renault, and Rolls Royce. Minneapolis Inspections reserves the right to deny service based upon vehicle year, make and or model.
Class 2 Elite and Class 3 Arista Vehicle Inspections Computer Scan service is limited to certain limitations. Only General Motors, Chrysler and Ford vehicles can be scanned if equipped with OBD1 (On Board Diagnostics 1, 1995 and earlier). Vehicles equipped with OBD2 (On Board Diagnostics 2, 1996 to present) also have limitations. Certain OBD2 vehicles have a proprietary computer system which does not disclose information with our communication equipment. Also, vehicles may have faults with their OBD2 Data Link Connector which may prevent communication. Minneapolis Inspections will not diagnose communication errors. Only the vehicle's Engine is required to be scanned. If our equipment supports communication with the vehicles other systems such as transmission, anti-lock brakes, airbag or body control module, we will at our discretion view the data present.
